Every construction calculator on the site

Start with the Square Foot Calculator to measure your area, then jump to the materials calculator that matches your project.

  • Square Foot Calculator

Get the area of any room, wall, lot or roof in square feet — including circles, triangles and irregular shapes. Start here before pricing materials.

Best for: measuring areas before estimating materials.

  • Concrete Block (CMU) Calculator

Convert wall area into the exact number of 8x8x16 concrete blocks (CMUs) or cinder blocks, plus mortar bags and core fill — with waste and cost.

Best for: walls, foundations, retaining walls and masonry projects.

  • Paver Calculator

Turn patio area and paver dimensions into the exact paver count, base sand and joint sand needed — supports rectangular, circular and custom layouts.

Best for: patios, walkways and driveways using brick or stone pavers.

  • Asphalt & Bitumen Calculator

Estimate asphalt tonnage and binder content from length × width × thickness — with cost per ton — for driveways, parking lots and small roads.

Best for: asphalt driveways, parking lots and paving jobs.

A typical workflow

  1. Measure the area. Use the Square Foot Calculator to get total square footage — it handles rectangles, circles, triangles and irregular shapes.
  2. Pick the right materials calculator. Concrete blocks for walls, pavers for patios and walkways, asphalt for driveways and parking lots.
  3. Add a waste percentage. 5–10% for simple layouts, 10–15% when there are lots of cuts, curves or openings.
  4. Round up and order. Suppliers don't sell fractions of a block, paver or ton — and a few spares on site beat a second delivery.
